Ho Central MP Pays Tribute to Victims of August 6 Helicopter Crash
Ho, Ghana – August 12, 2025 – The Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has paid tribute to the gallant statesmen who lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
In his remarks, Hon. Kpotosu shared memories of his relationship with the late Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central. He recalled how Hon. Murtala encouraged him after he made his first contribution in Parliament, describing him as “a man of principle and honesty.”
“This sad and tragic incident is a huge loss for the nation,” Hon. Kpotosu said.
The Ho Central MP also assured residents — particularly drivers — that the Ho to Aflao road project has been included in the mid-year budget. He indicated that work will commence soon once the contractor is mobilized to the site.
